About
Profit Prism Journal is the journal I wanted for my own trading — built with the same care as the production software I've shipped for over a decade.
Founder · Software engineer & trader
I've spent more than 12 years as a software engineer, building and running production software. For 8+ years I've traded the stock market, and for the last 5+ years I've been trading crypto as well.
Across all of it, the same problem kept coming back: my trades were spread across broker screens and spreadsheets in two currencies, and I couldn't see which setups actually made money or when I was breaking my own rules. So I built the tool I needed — and now it's here for you.
Most trading journals turn into spreadsheets nobody opens after week two — either too rigid for how a trade actually happened, or too generic to show what a trader actually needs: win rate by hour, how a specific strategy is really performing, whether discipline is slipping on the days it matters most.
Profit Prism Journal is built around one idea: journaling should show you the pattern, not just store the row. R-multiples instead of raw currency, so a Nifty options trade and a BTC scalp sit on the same equity curve. Named strategies with their own win rate and profit factor. A daily rules checklist next to your trades, so "I was undisciplined that week" becomes an actual percentage.
It's manual-entry by design — no broker or MT5 sync. That's a choice, not a missing feature: typing in a trade takes seconds and makes you actually look at what you did, instead of a dashboard filling itself while you look away.
Your trades are yours. No public leaderboards, no social feed, no one else can see your journal — full stop.
No auto-import, no broker sync. Every trade in your journal is one you chose to write down.
Every feature here came from an actual trading habit — not a checklist of "what a journal app should have."
Your journal is separated from every other account by the database itself, not just hidden by the app — the way it's done in production software.
Free demo data is seeded on signup so you can see how everything works before logging your own trades.
